I seriously recommend this article on sarcasm:

Anyway, the author (AAlgar) seems to have retired and I don't know who is going to take care of any amendments.

While the article itself is most certainly sarcastic, I myself feel it doesn't meet the stated standards for a Guide Entry. At the very least it needs to be in the third person, not first. Another Scout may think differently though. Here's a link for what the Sub's and Editor's are looking for: http://www.h2g2.com/A53209 The status of abandoned articles is being debated currently. I'd recommend attempting to contact the author, failing that, why not take responsibility for the article yourself and being doing the rewrites.

I have to agree that this one misses the mark. It seems to me to be rather a jumble of tired cliches. My Siskel and Ebert finger puppets both give it a thumbs down.

But wait! In the five weeks since this was posted to peer review, the remit of peer review has changed! Now PR is simply not accepting updates, full stop. And there is an edited entry on sarcasm at http://www.h2g2.com/A69969
And the original author isn't here, so I don't even have to be nice about it! Yippee!
