[Fester] He's dead Ryu. We should move on...

*Marshal leads on from the plaza. He finally found something of interest. A stairwell, leading down to a long forgotten chamber. Eight pillars stand in a circle in the middle of the chamber.*
[Marshal] Wow. I don't remember this...
[Fester] These pillars seem to have been moved recently. There's some kind of electronics beneath this one...
[Marshal] This one two...

Dont touch them! Get a servitor to if you really need them! Ive seen things like these before, when active they can do strange things to the reality field near by.

*A voice speaks into Kran's mind...
"He sleeps beneath a marble plain, upon which stands eight sentinels of stone. Do not kill them, else all will fall. Crown them with silver, and the titan shall die."
Marble looks down. The floor is made of Marble. he looks up, and sees something glinting in the shadows above. Silver. A ring of silver, with grooves to accept the pillars.*
[Fester] Hmm... If we could move these... Marshal. Find some explosives.

NO! Stop! Dont touch anything.............

*points up*

see that? We need to move that down.

in fact.... no.... wait.....

[Fester] What is it, Kran?
[Marshal] Is something wrong?

i dont know..... just.... i think we should'nt touch anything in this room.

Get sonic probes and try the floor though.

[Fester] Agreed. Let's get on it.

*The VIPERS begin to probe the floor. Sonic sensors reveal there's another chamber below. Something is inside. A cylindrical shape, like a cryogenic chamber, is also revealed.*

[Marshal] Weird... Is someone down there?

raven?

[Fester] No. They couldn't have moved the body... No... Black Widow?
[Marshal] What! It couldn't be, could it?
[Fester] If it is, he needs to die! Kran! Marshal! Ryu! Find a way to abort that statis tank! If we do that, it should kill whoever's inside... The pillars seem to be connected to the cryo-systems. If we take them out... unless you have reason not to, Kran?

dont touch the pillars. *points up at the ring* move that onto the pillars... dont ask me why, ts just the right thing to do

[Fester] Alright. Marshal, get on i-
*Bullet fire interrupts Fester. JACKAL troops, who had been searching for this place ever sinse their arrival, come pouring into the chamber. Marshal whips out his Ingrams, and opens up into the charging foe, gunning down dosens as they try to enter. Eventually, though, they begin to bring their numbers to bear and Marshal is forced into cover. Fester is already hiding behind the nearest pillar to the door, stubgun in one hand, and a long, elegent powerknife in the other. Ryu is pinned behind the fifth pillar by three gunmen. Kran rolls behind the second pillar. Marshal is behind the fourth pillar, checking his Ingram clips. The battle has begun.*

*flips the disruption field of his sword on. pulls out his pistol and runs over to an other pillar, shooting 2 JACKAL before finally getting into cover once again*

Im going to try to get that ring down! Keep them ocupied while i do it or we could all die!

*starts climbing up the pillar*

[Marshal] Distract them. Right!
*Marshal sprints out of cover, firing as he goes. He empties his clips into three JACKALs. He drops the Ingrams and /moves/ at the JACKALs. He summersaults over three of them as they try to gun him down. He brings his sword down, taking the head of the first and decapitating the other two in quick succession. Fester kills four more with perfect headshots.*
[Fester] Kran... Quickly please...

*now standing on top of one of the pillars*

Marshal! Catch! *throws his sword handle first towards marshal*

*jumps up to grab onto the ring. Pulls himself up onto the ring and climbs up one of the supporting wires, disapering into the darknes above*

[Marshal] Damn!
*Marshal falls over, a Green-Robed ninja with a pair of axes prepares to strike him, but Fester blows his face out.*
[Marshal] Thanks Fester. Kran! Get a move on!
*Pulls out his MP-100's and begins to pull back, firing as he goes.*

*from the darkness* you might want to be ready to dodge this thing!

*the ring falls quickly onto the pillars. Kran falls lightly into the middle of the room a swrod in each hand. As he tries to fight his way to a wall the ring flashes and the room goes dark*

*The floor begins to crack. The marble rumbles, and the JACKAL look around in terror. A figure punches through the floor in a shower of electricity and boiling water. The Black Widow. Marshal opens fire. Black Widow tries to dodge, but his injuries are too great, and three rounds punch through his legs and groin. He screams an inhuman scream, until Fester puts a Hi-Exp. round through his head, splattering the room in bone and gore. The room shakes even harder, and one of the pillars begins to topple. Another follows moments later.*
[Fester] The Room's unstable! EVERYONE OUT!!!
