"The Translators' scheme is still being tested"

Tube - the being being back for the time being

Is it? Last thing I know is that the whole this was iced due to lack of Italic manpower. Did it resume testing services? Is it anywhere near going live?
I mean the thing was announced on Aug. 9 2001 and the last offical reply to anything to do with the scheme was on Oct. 19 (F55683?thread=133655&skip=0&show=20). And if I recall what Peta said at the London pre-meet correctly then the thing might not to take off for some time. smiley - sadface
I'm not in the relevant e-group <smiley - winkeye waves at Peta smiley - smiley>, so I'm not really informed of what's going on, on the other hand "rumours" has it that I'd be told if the this gets moving.

So, what's the go?

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner)

I agree with you, Tube. That scheme is not really alive and thriving, but I hope that mentioning the TransVols in "The Post" will draw some attention to the topic again.
