The first description of Yate I heard was that it was> One end of a very long road from Bristol but not so bad for Filton. We have to be housed and the people of Yate our housed in a very happy community despite having Microprose operating virtual reality research 5 min walk from Tesco. And turning the telly addicted youth into socialised commuters.
