Sign me up - I've been dilligently reporting typographical and punctuation errors on-site for over two years now!
I have been known to contribute the occasional typo of my own, but I have a good excuse - I'm half blind...

For example, take the paragraph:
"Yes we compose the Roving Band of Delinquent Proofreaders. We have taken it upon our selves to try to correct the injustices done the english language on H2G2. Many of the users on H2G2 are good and don't post a huge amount of typos, but for those who do beware."
Which ought to read:
"Yes, we comprise the Roving Band of Delinquent Proofreaders. We have taken it upon ourselves to try to correct the injustices done to the English language on H2G2. Many of the users on H2G2 are good and don't post a huge amount of typos, but for those who do, beware."

Oh, *that* band. I thought it was a musical question. You confused me by calling me "Pete" too... My name is "Peet" IRL as well as on the Guide...
I thought you thought I was someone else, a musician called Pete...
I'm still wandering around pointing out typos in edited entries, as I do... Generally, I ignore the punctuation atrocities in chat threads, but if something purports to have suffered at the hands of an "editor" I believe it should have been thoroughly checked!
