Do they? I did that myself on the stuff I've sent!

Seriously Wolfie, this is the kind of thing they look for, I'm sure they would be delighted to have it. I can leave a message for echomikeromeo, the editor, or one of the other staff members to come over, have a look at it and tell you what she thinks if you like.

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

I did all the GML myself too, Shazz was well chuffed about that!

Well, I didn't have much to do so I did it as I went along. I don't have a problem with the simpler Guide ML, so I just did it myself to save them time.

OK, I left a message on The Post Team page, the thread is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F19815?thread=1467579&post=16997714#p16997714 I'm not sure how long it will take since EMR is in Calfornia! Contributing to the Post may make people get off your back, Wolfie, as it shows you are contributing usefully to the community. :)

Shazz is back, not as editor, but in an advisory capacity, Wolfie, i am sure you would get on really well with her, she is lovely & a column in The post maybe about the day to day problems & stupid situations people with disabilities encounter would be a great way of raising consciousness in general.

It could be very humorous too, just 'cos we can'tsmiley - run too fast doen't mean the sense of humour disappears, far from it! I would be happy to collaborate, i bet others would too *visions of "Crip's Corner:sit down comedians unite"

Good idea Terri. There are loads of people in the 'Crippling Illness' ythread whom I'm sure would contribute.

Or you could do your own experiences as one piece then get involved with that? Just a suggestion.

Physically challenged smiley - smiley.

In Denmark the word 'challenge' is, in my opinion, abused too often as an eufemism for problems and hard work. Sometimes the word is well used - as here, because it brings a smile - but other times it just covers up what is really at stake.

I'm on a schoolboard with a mother who has two sons with MD. They both attended ordinary school up to 8th grade. My son was in the class with the youngest.

In Denmark all the mechanical stuff - electric chair, computer for schoolwork, lifting gear, a car for tranportation of the children and electric chairs and personal aidées (young adults on shifts many hours round the clock and every day in the week - the parents are working both of them) is a public service paid via taxes. Still. I don't know about the future though, with the government we've had for 5 years. smiley - erm

And I once worked with a master of art in phychology with MD who had the blackest humour. There was always somebody around to help him with adjusting his head etc.. In the middle of an interview about his research into methods of teaching, he told me he began law studies but switched to psychology because that study had a much higher percentage of good looking women.

Tartaronne - not to be picky, but "eufemism" -> "euphemism".

Elentari, smiley - ta. I like to get corrected. The only way to learn, stay alert and pick up the dictionary a bit more often. smiley - winkeye

But why use a ph when an f is quite sufficient? smiley - biggrin
