smiley - musicalnoteSebastian, you're in a mess. You had a dream they called you king of all the hipsters - is it true or are you still the queen?smiley - musicalnote

Sorry 'bout that. smiley - smiley

This is indeed how you get entries into the guide. However, while this is a good topic, and it's a good start, I don't think it's quite ready. Try having a look around at some other entries to get ideas for structure. Also, entries for the edited guide need to be completely in the third person - if you need to mention yourself, use 'this researcher' instead. Keep at it - I'd really like to see something on this on the guide.

you could put some stuff in about the Japanese company that made it. Was it a sucess in Japan. What other famous Japanese cartoons are we thinking about, Pokemon? When was this thiing made, how many episodes, where was it shown and for how long. Was it made for the Japanses market, seems a rather unusual subject. Othere cartoons from the same period, you mentiond lazers, are we talking Tranformers here or Thundercats. I distinctly remember 'round the word in 80 days' and 'cities of gold'. ere these on at the same time

ws this wathced by children or adults or teenagers. was there lots of merchanidising going on? did it become a stage show?

It's a nice article but it needs a bit more padding out. There are probably a few things around h2g2 you could link to as well.

My overiding memory of Belle and Sebastian (apart form that I didnt like ths animation) was themusic, this was because my first flute tacher insisted on playing it allllllllll the time. He didn't last long.

Good luck with the entry.

hmmm, trouble is i'm not having much luck with the research, nowhere on the net seems to have much more than a brief discription, i'll keep looking though. i probably need to find out how to do guideML too. Your right it's nowhere near completion, i just wanted to get it into the review thingy so i could get some advice. things are a lot more complicated since the last time i wrote a guide entry (about 2 years ago)

Hey, you don't need GuideML to add some structure (although it would be nice smiley - smiley ). If it really proves to be sooo difficult then just indicate your headers and subheaders with a double line break and

UPPERCASE TEXT

___________ Perhaps Underscores For Subheaders_________

=========== Or Double Ones For Headers ========

Really shouldn't be too difficult, and would help readers a lot because at the moment it's all one block of text.

Those weird “ codes... W**w**d inserts them. Try copying your source file into notepad first and look what it did to the apostrophes smiley - winkeye

What I'd like to know is
- which genre I should sort B&S into: is it humour/adventure/whatnot... ?
- what's that music like?

To sum it up: could be done in a quarter of an hour!

one important thing:

the entry needs to be done in your own words. the Guide, and you personally, could get in a lot of trouble for plagerism. sorry it's not tactful, but, you should know better.
