Speaking of fresh bread... There's a loaf of bread in the bread machine that's almost done and the bread smells absolutely *wonderful*!!!

Don't feel bad de.
The lady who's computer I'm using has a bread maker on her back porch she TRYING to give away. She bought it for $8 at a yard sale. Good thing I ignored her when she told me she wanted one for Christmas last year. Mine cost $80+ & I can never find mixes for it.
I'm gonna' go eat an orange now. A big, fat, juicy naval orange.

Why would you need mixes for your bread machine, when there are so many wonderful recipes available? I find mixes to be terribly confining - there are so many bread machine cookbooks out there, and I like to experiment with recipes, too.

Ooooooooooo. STICKERS!
The iMac will come from Apple with the Panther operating system already installed Pandora. After that, it's simply a matter of adding the programs you want to use. Everything is extremely easy to install, that is, *if* the program is a version designed to run on OSX. I don't think you will have any trouble if you give it a try. Go ahead. Be brave. It's easy.
But .... if you happen to have a lying around, why not take advantage of him?

Stickers are lovely, but I prefer a nice desktop picture to make my Mac match the decor! Try here, they have some great stuff: http://www.macdesktops.com/
I've got a great one of "Young Woman Reading" on my desktop!

I *may* just paint a lil' sumthin' on my new mac. Or sumthin'. If the flippin' thing ever makes it here! So far installer stuff's been going to a realitive's house two miles down the road.
Hmm...wonder why 'Josh' didn't say the Panther thingie came with it? I wonder....

I need to make a little correction in something I said before, Pandora. The Panther OSX operating software DOES NOT come with OS 9.2.2. This could be a problem for you if your older software isn't compatible with OSX. Apparently, Apple has decided to no longer support OS 9 in Panther ... which is just as well, because it *sucks* (to put it delicately in polite company.
) I didn't realize this until yesterday when installing Panther to a freshly erased hard drive ... but I'm glad to be rid of the old-rickety #9 operating system.

OS 9 doesn't come in the Panther box, that's true. But I believe it still comes pre-installed on the iMac, so just don't erase the hard drive.

It would have been *nice* if they had included it in the resoration software, then!
I installed mine on a G4 from the retail boxed version, so yes, it may be different on a new iMac. Thanks d'Elephant!

I'v two entire manuals. I'll jussss be over there slamming my head against the wall.
I use to slam my head against my old mac. But, that probably wasn't good for either of us.
