What an interesting and informative article. Glad to see it's in Peer Review.
I had no idea there were so many different symptons that could be caused by candida. Think I will have to investigate this further.

Thanks, Sus,
I've just added what looks like a really informative website to the entry. I'm debating whether to add stuff about thrust, which seems to me to be a slightly different animal - it came up in the PR thread. I'm going to sleep on it.

Whilst relevant, I think thrush needs a whole entry of its own, imho. Would be a good entry to see in the guide though.

Yes, you are probably right. I didn't mention thrush at all originally, as the focus of the entry was systemic candida, which appears to be much more widespread than people think. I thought you had to have a partner to have candida. Now I know differently.
I'm finding the diet a bit difficult though. Alcohol, no problem (I was on mineral water at the meet), yeast, a fair problem - no bread (and therefore sandwiches) and such a lot of convenience foods have it, sugar, a big problem, I really miss fruit and milk and cheese are in such a lot of vegetarian convenience foods as well. Ideally, I would like to cook everything from fresh ingredients, but practically, it's not that easy. I'm sure it will get better as I get into the groove.
Thanks ZSF!

Excellent entry! A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with it. She was relieved to finally pinpoint what it was- it can take months to be properly diagnosed since it can show the symptoms of so many other ailments.
Definitely Guide-worthy!
