Bader was their most famous member.

As for his limbs. He wore bilateral standard post war No# 8 style prostheses. A leather cup resting inside a metal shin unit conected to a uniaxial ankle with rubber dorsiflexion and planterflexion stops. They also have single axis knee joints leading to leather thigh corsets that suspend the prosthesis. He would have supplimented this with a secondary waist belt and 'pick ups'.

Thankfully times have moved on...
