First of all many, many apologies for the delay on this and thanks for bringing it to our attention here.

Although we think this has a lot of potential, we picked it rather too early as it's a bit too 'first-person' to fit into the Edited Guide so far. If it could be re-written in a way that describes the patent system, using all your experience as illustrative examples, that would be great. It's been waiting there for us to get to it! It would work quite nicely as 'Tips for Anyone Filing for A Patent', that way it could be divided up and the bulk of this Entry could be used to furnish the examples. How does that sound to you?

The serious work has been done by Ugi (A31549728 (Edited), Filing for a Patent) and I see no point in rehashing that content.

It 'is' a personal account (and was so intended from the start). A bit presumptuous perhaps, though the process knocked it into somewhat better shape.
I'd vote for more 'first person' entries - albeit better than this one

For me, its day has gone.
Presumably it would go as a plain Guide Entry - so, please, how?
