I've been tossing up whether to write this for the last hour or so, since some might consider this tasteless. I don't mean it to be so.

Shouldn't this be DNA 2.0?

DNA 1.0 began and inspired the guide, so surely it's right for DNA 2.0 to continue from there?

My 2c worth.

But this is the *third* major rewrite of the system, from Llama to Ripley to DNA... and there have been 10 major versions and one minor version (see <./>Versions</.> for more info). DNA 2.0 is therefore not right at all...

Besides, you can't rewrite history. Llama and Ripley were the names chosen (explanation on the page above), and now it's DNA. It does make sense, honest! smiley - smiley

I think what doreiwolf was saying was that there can only ever be ONE original Douglas N. Adams (DNA) so this should be called DNA2 (maybe DNA2 v. 1.0)...

Or maybe it wasn't .... smiley - biggrin
