Atlanta

A major metropolis in the south-eastern United States, Atlanta is abundant in traffic jams, urban sprawl, mega-malls, universities, and ridiculously overpaid information technology jobs.
Cars in Atlanta move at two speeds: too slow during the twice-daily traffic jams, and way too fast any other time. Atlantans aren't bad drivers on the whole - just braver than you might wish them to be.
Much of the charm of Atlanta stems from the fact that it has all the conveniences of a megalopolis like New York or L.A. with a much higher concentration of trees and grass. The city was burned to the ground during the Civil War. In retrospect, most residents consider this an effective if unintentional form of urban renewal.
