Hilarious! Why not turn this into a mini-drama?
How about Abe and his cat? Abe meets Homer Simpson?
The possibilities!

That could be interesting. Perhaps the Civil War could also be redone with Abe and Jefferson Davis morphing into giant robots to battle over the fate of the country.

Do I detect a South Park fan?
I think Abe would probably fair a bit better than Leonard Maltin and Sidney Poitier.

Er...how about, ALL of the American Presidents with their key symbol (eg : Abe and his hat, Bill and his cigar, Bush and his Pretzel) in a mass gangland war...?

I'm afraid my history isn't good enough to find a key symbol for all of the presidents. I suppose I could make some up...Like maybe James Garfield and...er...His dog, Odie.
Interesting enough, America has had 43 presidents. However, Grover Cleveland is counted twice (there was a four year gap between his two terms, which I guess somehow qualifies him as two different people), so in actuality, America has only had 42 presidents. I'm sure there's something significant about this, but I haven't quite figured it out, yet.
I don't get to see all of the SP episodes, because I don't have cable at home (consequently, our tv picks up about five different channels). When I'm at school (like now) I have cable, which means I have many more channels. Unfortunately, most of these channels seem to show crap pretty much of the time, so I don't watch them very often. Thus, when one of the shows I actually like comes on (eg SP, The Simpsons, X-Files) I'm usually not watching.
On another topic (as if this post didn't have enough of them already), I visited your page and I understand you used to live in a David Lynch film. Let me guess. You were the radiator woman.

Im Laura Palmer!
(Despite not watching half of Twin Peaks...lol)
RE : School. Where would that be? Boarding school? Are your parents THAT mean?
I rarely catch much TV myself...usually its the odd films and doccies I watch...but cartoons will always be allowed here...
RE : Presidents. A few interesting facts about past popes. One was a woman, and many were gay. Suprised?
How can a man be two men? Was he hefty?

I've only seen the first season of Twin Peaks, but I'm assuming season two will make its way to DVD, eventually, so I'll probably get around to seeing the rest. So, do your arms bend back?
I go to college, so I get to stay in a wonderfully cramped dorm room.
I'm not too surprised about the gay popes (though I'm assuming they didn't flaunt it a lot), but I am surprised about the woman one.
I'm not really sure how a man can be two men. Maybe, when he was re-elected, everyone forgot that he had already been counted. Then, when they realized they were wrong, they pretended they'd meant to count him twice all the time, so the wouldn't look stupid.

Do my arms bend back? Dont know...never tried...lets give it a go ... ... ... ...oh. There they go...
It shows how ridiculous politics are...I have loads of strange facts about history...found this great book a few months back...
Still on the Lynch subject, my favorite does happen to be Lost Highway...great soundtrack, Patricia Arquette, a guy who gets impaled on a coffee table...great quotes...fantastic!!
I want to see Muholland Drive sometime soon...

Mulholland Drive is excellent. It leaves you with that strange sort of what-the-heck-did-i-just-see feeling that you get with Lost Highway. I'd like to see it again, but it only played at one nearby theater for about a week (and this was about a month after the movie's release), so it looks like I'll probably have to wait for the DVD.

And it got a mainstream publicity run too...DAMN arthouses...they should keep at least one Lynch film on rotation 24/7...
You a film buff then?
David Lynch
Arthbard Posted Feb 1, 2002
I don't know...Maybe. I think so. I do watch a lot of movies, including quite a few that are pretty far from mainstream. I'm never quite sure whether that qualifies me as a film buff or just some guy who watches lots of movies.
There don't really seem to be a lot of arthouses around here (or at least I haven't found them), so I just have to hope the bigger theaters find time between Nutty Professor 2 and American Pie to play a movie I actually want to see. I'm still waiting to see the Coen brothers' 'The Man Who Wasn't There.'
