I assume you're British, *but*...
Is Streetwise a national paper in the US, then? I can understand how a single paper could find its way across England... Or even the Netherlands... But the entire United States? I thought I had read somewhere else that most big cities in the US publish their own street papers..

Changed to Chicago - you're right. Streetwise is the street paper in the US with the highest circulation, but it is only published in the chicago area. There are, as I mentioned in the article, around 30 street papers in the US and Canada, and the NASNA link has full details.

Seattle's street paper is named "Real Change", and has a decent website as well that would be worth linking to. One of the things I really like about Real Change is that it includes a section written by children in foster care, called "The Mockingbird Times".
