Steve Badger is an ordinary badger, leading a quiet life, working in the civil service to provide for his wife and son. Little does he care that his great-grandfather was the legendary Badger Vince, who freed the woodland folk from the clutches of Lord Glutton many years ago.
But then, Steve's life is turned upside down. His dying father entrusts to him the severed foot of Badger Vince, left with a prophecy tat it would protect the kingdom if Glutton should ever return. Days later, a piece of paper accidentally crosses his desk that reveals to him that the kindly Lord Weasel is in fact a dark tyrant, in the pay of one Darth Wolverine. When he confides this to his wife, she suddenly reveals herself to be a mink - and not a badger after all.
Madame Mink leaves Steve for dead, hacking off his foot, but he is roused by the foot of his ancestor, and as if by magic it fuses to his ankle, imbuing him with the legendary strength of Badger Vince.
Now, aided only by the mysterious Lydia Ferret, Steve and his foot must stand against Lord Weasel, Madame Mink, and their dark patron, if he is ever to get his son back. Will he succeed? Or will Madame Mink turn son against father? And faced with the might of Darth Wolverine, will kicking this butt prove too steep a challenge even for...
