This is an entry about toast, it's different toppings and it's use in meals. I think it should be editited because someone might want to learn about toast!

This entry seems rushed, like you're trying to get everything in in one sentance. Maybe you could slow it down a little, ease up the pace, make it nice thick reading material.

Also, you are in desperate need for a section on Marmite on toast!

Addtionally, you ought to present both sides of any issue. Discuss the differences between various types of bread. How does this affect the eating experiece?

this entry is great. but it needs headers ie Toppings

and definately more text. there is loads to say about toast. i'm sure there are things you can link to on h2g2. i'll have a rummage for you. i know for certain there are loads of entries about buttering a cat.

I have to assume you're all British. Some of the things you put on poor toast I just don't understand. That being said, the bit about margarine isn't accurate (at least not on this side of the Atlantic). Margarine is cheaper than butter but just as fattening and worse for you healthwise as it contains polysaturated and hydrogenated fats and the like, while butter has protein. I agree with the person who said you should include both sides of any issue as I personally don't like white bread and only eat wheat bread (the health thing again, this time it's the fiber).

As it stands, this entry is extremely *light*. It would benefit from including the extra material suggested and then some.

Structurally, it would look much better presented with proper headings as suggested by Strider. You can find out more about GuideML on this link:

Toppings could either be done as headings as already suggested, in a table or as a list.

Give it a try. Post when you've made the amendments.

Oh yes, I meant to say that brown bread is much nicer, preferably organic, wholemeal bread with butter. So nice, it doesn't need a topping!

Really you could have a heafty section on bread selection. About the brown bread, toasting carmelizes the sugar in the bread and the more sugar the bread has, the more carmelizing results! As for calories, toasting actually burns some calories (literally, as calories are measured by burning something and counting the resulting heat), maybe not many, but it does.
