I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but the Eden Project is something I'd love to see.

I will try, but it's a long way to travel from the north-east (says he who is going to Vancouver from Toronto in a few weeks).

Go on, you know you want to If you've got the time for the full five days then it's obviously worth it...
Um, I've just invited some people from the 360 site to join in, hope that's OK. Vogonpoet has started an Environmental society there.

Sign me up provisionally (as always). Dunno about the full five days, depends if I've got a job by then.

Actually I guess I am more definite than that, although transport will be interesting no doubt- might have to hitch down, so its a good thing I have 4 days to get there and back
Seeing as you have gone slightly out of your way to make 360 members feel welcome, I shall feel ok about linking this page from the Environmental Society page (which, incidentally, is at U191190 )
Wow, the Eden project - I really really want to go see that, fantastic, this meet is just a terribly fantastic idea, hurrah

vp - I think you'll find you aren't the only one coming down from Ed, so maybe you guys can arrange a car-share again (how's that for environmentally-friendly)?
'...slightly out of your way...' oh vp, you are *too* kind. I guess we could work a reciprocal link in there somehow.
Interestingly, this meet page comes top in a google search for 'eden project campsite', as The Thinker1121 discovered.
I'm going to drop a line to the Env Soc thread now, where I see you've been discussing this. Let people know. It's a great place to visit, so the more like minds, the better.

I need to give the campsite an idea of how many will be in our group and how many pitches we will require. Carlyon Bay has offered us a group discount, and will be able to give me final prices, once they know the size of the group. Therefore, could everyone who is coming please go to F81932?thread=180710 and follow directions there.
