A Conversation for South-west England Meet 2002 (child-friendly)

Nice to hear that you're planning a Cornish (or atleast Westcountry) meetup. The Eden Project is amazing - and will be even better this summer (some of the outdoor plants might have grown a bit more).

The Goonhilly satellite Centre is a bit boring though. They put you on buses and drive you around... satellites. It's all a bit static really, and the information centre is the most interesting bit.

My advice would be to just try and spend as much time as possible... on the beach!

Anyway, you'll all have a lovely time. I'd love to come, but I've got other things planned for that time of the year.

If you get stuck for accommodation, you could always camp out on my Grandad's farm! (though it's not very near the Eden Project - it's an hour or so's drive down into Cornwall - near Truro city).

I think Goonhilly is quite a good option for youngsters. We went a couple of years ago and weren't disappointed (plus they have Internet access for the terminally addicted!)

Turned up quite a nice-sounding campsite too, if we can get in, so hopefully it will be a very good week/end.
