i'm sorry, i haven't a clue what this is about. does that mean i win something ? i am so new and so totally without a clue i must get something... consolation prize? "rebel without a clue" t-shirt? "clueless in seattle" the direct-to-video release they made before they made the hit movie? robert palmer's old vinyl recording of "looking for clues"?
this looked kinda fun. sorry to intrude. it's been a long night learning guide ml and finding good pix for my user page.
i really don't like , but is okay.

It would probably be helpful if someone explained the rules of this game - assuming, that is, that it is a game
I'm guessing that it's something like
someone suggests a function and others suggest appropriate guests???
but when does one change to a different function, or does it just evolve? if so , how??
I like new games -but like to know how they work too

Sorry, presumptious of me
The basic gist for this game is there's a party for a specific group interest, and people have to come up with punnish invitees, a la:
Jazz Enthusiasts Ball:
Please welcome Mr and Mrs Tone-Sachs, and their son Barry
Mr Bop and his wife Bea
and the perennial Mr and Mrs Bennetthatnotewasharsh, and their son Gordon.
I guess if anyone feels we've exhausted the possibilities of the current party they can suggest a new one

It's all based on the Radio Series I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue:
See http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A490349
There are certain regular favourites in the show with regular formats.
So for this h2g2 researcher's ball we could have
Mr and Mrs Bennetthisclassicgoopageistakingalongtimetoload and their son Gordon Bennetthisclassicgoopageistakingalongtimetoload!

i'm gonna lurk if you don't mind. they don't have this radio show here in the useless of ay and i'm no good at making puns, but i laugh when other people do, if they're not in foreign slang. like i don't get the bennetthatnotewasharsh and their son gordon one at all but i'm going to start my very own collection of brit slang that i don't understand, and maybe you brits can swing by my page and offer translations from time to time?
