it would be more like archery and would encourage fatalities

Now you're talking! Mind you, not sure about encouraging fatalities... FCG doesn't aim to injure the players any more than, say, Ice Hockey does.
by the way - how did you find this entry???

Hmm. An answer, but not *the* answer. It continues the story, without finishing it. So... why were you looking at my userpage???

Again, an answer but not the answer...
Why my space in particular? How did you pick it? Randomly? Did you read an entry or posting I wrote? Or what?

Hmm. I think it was a conversation you were in. I tend to go to peoples' Spaces if I see them in a conversation I'm interested in. I've visited you before, and then followed links out of your Space until I've forgotten where I came from originally!

Well, good. If my space has left you confused, my work here is done!
btw, did you go to the meet?

I went to Southampton, not to London (I think that one's happened, hasn't it?)

I'm fairly sure the London one happened - if it didn't I have no idea who all those people I was talking to in the pub and the park were!

I wanted to, I just couldn't. Plus it would have been a bit wierd- Reading and Southampton were small meets (So'ton too small) and there would have been so many people! I'm going next year though, dammit. And any other ones that are around near me in the mean time.

I *think* they have two a year - one in the middle of winter - but since the Nodnol one was my first, I don't really know. I can recommend it though.

I love meetups. Reading was marvellous, So'ton wasn't coz not enough of us turned up, and we couldn't even go to the pub. I was supposed to be staying the night, but it wasn't worth it. Ah well. Go to more! I certainly will. Where are you? I can't remember. I'm near Oxford at the moment, but going up to Birmingham soon.
