...imagine my surprise, whilst doing a google for my 'name' to add to the 'explain your name' thread, i find i'm listed under something called 'the piggies' ...

Grey Desk...I have only ever been to two football matches in my life.

one, when i was 8 years old, with my uncle colin, to bramall lane to see United v. Blackpool

two, when i was 10 years old, to see Wednesday v. The Spurs ( i think Stanley Matthews was playing).

United drew 1-1, Wednesday won 3-1.

Anyway...As i am obviously a staunch supporter of Sheffield Wednesday, i would greatly appreciate your removal of the term 'piggies', which obviously refers to the West Yorkshire Constabulary, and replace it with the correct term "The OWLS"

anyway, interestingly i only came across this page through google, not h2g2...

ermsmiley - erm was it stanley matthews or was it billy wright who played for the spurs? it would have been around 1960ish.
