I'd stick to my position that someone could consider that the Catholic Church is Good, but Humanly fallible, and hence a claim the Church makes that it is infallible or that it must be obeyed absolutely in certain matters would logically be the very first thing to consider as possibly unsound.
People don't have to believe in every single aspect of apolitical party's programme in order to consider themselves a member or supporter.

but if you belong to a political party and don't agree with some of their policies you can work to change things from within can't you? The poor deluded Cafflicks don't really have that option, unless they want to be labelled heretics.

Actually, the Catholic Church has changed/modified/'clarified' its position on a number of issues recently - limbo, Judas etc. I'm not sure how that squares with infallability, though (my opinions may change, but what doesn't change is that I'm right).

I feel that anyone who hadn't been brainwashed would have come to that conclusion as soon as they grew old enough to think logically.
The Roaming Catlicks do such a good job of brainwashing though don't they!
