Magnificent!
Spim, me ol' coot you've outdone yourself. This is what life's all about! My absolute favourite to date, both in artistic and written content.

I agree
I won't share the contents of a wonderful note which accompanied this cartoon, but will just say that I will never be able to watch a Gene Kelly film again without thinking of spacehoppers and trim bottoms!
Also, thanks from a Star Trek fan for the gratuitous inclusion of a Chekov reference!

Ah, thank you both for your wise and cultured appreciation. Just the thought of Gene Kelly's twinkling buttocks smiling and winking at one can cheer to the depths of the soul. Why can't life be like musicals I wonder - proof of the non-existence of God if ever there was one.
And yes, I should have given Chekkers a bit more of a credit I suppose. Here's to Chekhov, what a marvel.

"Enemy wessels approaching ceptin"
I found him just as appealing in Babylon 5 strangely enough as Bester. I know I know: liking that johnny-come-lately character to the classic Checkov LOL.

Have you read his autobiography then?
I'll have to dig out the title for you... lots of anecdotes from ST and Bab5... and very funny.
Whatever DID happen to all those spacehoppers btw? Did they all run away and found a new dynasty somewhere?
