Our intrepid researcher has now gone and actually 'bearded dragons in their den'! Not sure how you beard anything, but that's the term that came to mind. The continued bravery of Researcher 15304 can only amaze and astonish us. To say nothing of the panache, wit, and flair which is intrinsic in these entries...
Oh, please, someone stop me before I turn into one of those people who write blurbs for book jackets. I...I...feel it happening already. Must...put...down...pencil. Hard...to...type...with...pencil...in...hand,...anyway. Where...did...all...these...dots...come...from...???

Bearded dragons? What do you mean?
**looks down and discovers a flowing beard on the end of her snout** Hey! What have you done to me?!

Oops! must be the 'power of the pen'...
Might be quite becoming, tho. And you could run for the bearded dragon of h2g2 like Fenchurch has run for Ms Bearded h2g2 2000.
Wonder what 'bearding them in their den' DOES mean, anyway...

Hmm... I think I'd prefer to lose the beard, if you don't mind. Fascinating as it is... I already have enough problems with people thinking I'm male.
Ah, now there's a good topic for discussion - why don't most western dragons have are distinguishing features between male and female?

Calling anyone who knows what 'bearding them in their dens' means! Anyone??

Actually, the lack of obvious disinguishing sexual characteristics among western dragons might be a good thing. No initial sexual bias, and all that. Of course, there ARE subtle ways to let others know your sex and/or sexual preference.
My sexual preference:
yes, I do prefer sex
Key: Complain about this post
