A Conversation for Islands in the Sun

I must say that I really enjoy reading the "Islands In The Sun" articles as they are so similar in many ways to my home, the Isle of Wight. Of course, everywhere to a Caulkhead is up North - I remember the first time my baby sister came to the mainland after travelling across by Hovercraft. We'd arrived at Southsea, Portsmouth, and walked about a mile, and she then asked "Are we now in Scotland?" Which pretty much sums up the Island's view - everything not on the Island is unimportant and close together.
The Island's view towards Europe, however, can be summed up by the 30+ castles and forts that surround it's coast.

Thanks mate! Writing them means a lot to me too - hopefully I'll be spending my life in this job! I mean, journalism, not writing these artciles in poarticular that is... er... yeah.
