Scarred me for life!
Soon as I was 18, I was straight down the Contact Lense shop!

Me too! Though I still have to wear the a couple of times a week. Haven't had anyone call me 'four-eyes' in ages, plenty of other things though A couple of years ago I had an interesting conversation with someone who used to participate in the name calling at school, he said something along the lines of "yeah, but it was all a bit of fun, it didn't do you any harm did it?". He seemed genuinely shocked when I told him what an effect it had had on me.
Anyroad, back on topic, do you think the Face of Boe has any eye trouble? Will the refractive errors introduced by being immersed in a tank of fluid cause him any focusing problems?

When Russell gets down to the "how he lost his body" story, will he do it on DW or Torchwood?

Maybe they'll be a character called "the rest of Boe"!

I´d say the fact that only the head of boe remains is due to the general ideas of human evolution. The idea that an advanced being will just be a brain, and everything else will be vestigal. Similar to why the martians in War of the Worlds were just heads.

He's telepathic, so technically he doesn't need to be able to see. That presumably means he'll get the powers of telepathy sometime too.

Given what Captain Jack does most of his thinking with that can't be right.

Not suitable for a family show!
"mummy, why is there a big willy in a jar?"
Scar some poor mites for life, that would!

nice one Blackberry Cat
I guess The D**k of Boe doesn't have the same ring to it
My nickname at school was Dolly, being a rather big girl it was a given really

>> "the face of Bo"? Surely he would be just called "Bo"?
I assumed 'the face' was a compliment. In Mod-times, cool people were 'faces'.
Or like, Kate Moss is the face of 'Stink' (Stink being whatever brand currently employs her)

If one had to choose between the Face of Boe, Toe of Boe and Rest of Boe, would one need a Boe Selector?
(Popped that in the wrong thread initially and can't delete or edit.)

Nice one Roymondo.
Following on from the Captain Jack speculation, if the Face of Boe did get an erection, would it be a Boe-ner?

ps is your signature anything to do with the song by Elastica?

very good
Better than the hand of Boe one, anyway!
(p.s. mentions of torchwood must always be in threes. Not sure why, but that's how it seems to work doesn't it?)
