No opinions on the CID mini-episode, then?

It was lovely.
"You were /my/ Doctor"
I got a bit mushy a that point.

I enjoyed it too. It was shamelessly fanboyish in a way I worry may have alienated a lot of newer fans but it was enjoyable enough and I liked how they managed to fill a few gaps (why the Fifth Doctor looked older, why the TARDIS interior changes, why Titanic managed to breach the TARDIS). Interesting that it was clearly part of official continuity and yet "fits in" between two points in an existing episode rather than at the end of one (as happened in the 2005 CIN mini-episode). I wonder if they'll insert it (optionally or otherwise) in future DVD releases of "Last Of The Timelords".

Another thing I read somewhere that plug a bit of a plot hole: it explains why the Doctor is a) scared and b) so convinced it can only be the Master when Martha tells him another Time Lord has survived in "Utopia".

"Eh? This happened after Utopia."
And yet simultaneously before Utopia... wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey...

Yes, the Doctor *remembered* being warned of the Master's return when he was the fifth Doctor and this would explain his instant fear when Martha tells him she might have found another timelord...
