I'd never picked up on that, , .
I guess it depended on how effective Gan's limiter was at the time, or how much adrenalin and soma Villa had drunk
Was Avalon's other name 'project'?
I can't help but think "that's the name they're paying for."

Oh for a quote button.
'So, umm, Roy, what the blazes did you think my name was supposed to be a reference to?'
I hadn't really given it much thought! I've no idea what Fizzymouse, 2legs or Magwitch are referencing either: they're just online names, much as Roymondo is of no real relevance to a chap called Dave. I now know the relevance of KerrAvon and it's rather cool.

Have you been hanging out on Outpost Gallifrey? Only you're moaning about quote and edit buttons, which is how I feel coming back here!

Nah, not Outpost Gallifery: I'm registered there but am not quite geeky enough to join in!
The quote and edit thing is down to spending a lot of time on the Glastonbury forums. Once you've sampled the way EVERY OTHER FORUM ON THE INTERNET deals with quotes and edits h2g2 does seem a tad anachronistic. But anachronism is part of h2g2's charm. It's still bleedin' irritating though!

I would say that you two should get out more, but my presence in this thread would shine a big 'Oi! Hypocrite' light at me.

Actually, he was Lt Green from Captain Scarlet, played by Cy Grant - a pioneer in black entertainers on British TV, fact-fans!

Well i would think most people would have heard of Nero but The scabbard is worth 10 of the sword said Merlin is a very obscure quote.
