John Simm plays Mr Saxon who is The Master.

But will we even have an episode this week?

I really can't imagine there being anything on BBC2 that's too important to be replaced by the footie...

(or, of course, Dr Who.)

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

Ok, I'll set me stall out.

Man U are my team.

If we don't see the next episode on Saturday, I will hold Mr Ferguson responsible.

Come on, 7-1 against Roma???

I think it's fair enough that the footie should be on BBC1: it means a lot to a lot of people (though I'm still amazed by the amount of MU fans. I mean, Manchester ain't a small place, but really...)

I can also understand the BBC wanting to keep The Doc on BBC1 as a profile thing, but the choice should be between footie or Doc on 1 or 2, not between one or t'other on BBC1 and the other can go hang.

I feel the same way about Wimbledon. Oh, thank Bob Glastonbury lands in the middle of Wimbledon.

Hmm. might have wandered a bit there. Drinking smiley - bubbly don't ya know.

I'm torn because I'm a massive DW fan and a massive MU fan. I think (hope) it's a largely academic issue because, as magwich said, 7-1 against Roma! I also agree that BBC2 should be utilised and Wimbledon is a prime example...

"Well we have to leave you here on BBC1 but, if you want to see the last four hours of today's play, switch over to BBC2!"

Who cares what channel it's on, as long as it *is* on (Doctor Who and FA Cup, that is) smiley - smiley
