Hi Doug,
are you still working on this Entry?
You might like to add a note that a lot of people call the 'writer's notebook' style of journal a 'diary' (in the UK at any rate).
I was also going to suggest a link to an Edited Entry on Da Vinci but there doesn't seem to be one I must be wrong there...
Jules

It seems to be a nice idea, but I feel that, to be worth writing an article on it, you need to fill out what you are saying a little. It feels a bit short and unfinished - perhaps a little more humour in the first few sections and then extend what you are saying about the most important thing in the article (the discussion about the hybrid journal) - maybe fill it out with a description of the hybrid journal in practise alongside a semi-humourous/extravagent idea of what keeping a hybrid journal could lead to and then possibly a step-by-step guide on how to begin one's journal (for I know that can be a daunting prospect for any potential journal keeper) and so on... It's just an idea, but my emphasis on your need for a little humour stems from the fact that your article deals with quite a simple subject and a little more humour is far more likely to make someone interested in the idea.
Anyway, I hope that gives you something to work on.

sorry, Jules!! (although you did come over to _my_ journal )
It's my New Year's Resolution coupled with christmas pressie (I'm loading up his mp3 player, therefore I have more online time and resolved to do as much in Peer Review as I can, since I've decided not to write any entries for a while)

Eh? Oh yes, I did. No, I meant in the last two PR threads I've been active in. No worries - great minds and all that!
