How's about Groucho Marx as a smilie. He has very distinctive features and so should be quite easy to draw. Also, he actually stands for something - wit. People could use it after saying a good one-liner.

Well, you could use it after saying something particularly witty, or after a bad one-liner. For example -
'What do you call a bear that's pointing a gun at your head?'
'Sir.'
Obviously a better joke than that but you get the idea.
I've seen quite a few times where people could've used it if they wanted... oh, go on!

And if you could do a - jokes requiring really bad accents,
and a for visual jokes - would be great!
Ooooh - and maybe a - the lesser talented siblings smiley . You could use it for Liam Gallagher or Frank Stallone or Phil Neville...
And, of course, a for things where you've heard of them but have no idea of what they look like, or do?
