Okay...
The desert is a tan expanse of wasteland, glowing with a faint blue light. There are plants that look like landbound seaweed, but the're near a small oasis, also glowing bluely.
There's what seems to be a storm in the distance, with bluish-purple lightning, and I hear voices each tome the lightning strikes. The odd thing is, there's no cloud for the lightning to be coming from.
Next to me is a blue steel ladder. It's about sixteen feet long, and it's leaning against the cube. There are fifteen rungs on it, one every foot, starting six inches above the ground and ending six inches away from the top.
The cube is just that: a metallic cube about 12 feet tall, and the ladder's lesaning against one side. There are no join marks at the corners of the cube, no rivets, in fact, no fastenings of any kind, yet I know it's hollow!
Well, that's it.
My cube...
