Hi Azara - long time no see. Thanks for dropping by, and thanks for your comments. If you read a couple of postings back, though, you'll see that Tonsil has asked a few questions, and high-lighted 2/3 areas that could do with a little mention (the sclerotic ring, and why the Clarke's were instrumental in the discover of the ichthyosaurs).
But other than that (which I'll ammend in a couple of days), I think it's approaching the finished mark.
Frogbit.

Gnomon - time to move on

potatos --> potatoes

And there's still one opthalmosaur in there among the ophthalmosaurs. Eyes wide, see if you can spot it! It's the link at the bottom.

Azara, here's a passing Scout - but with no recommending ammo smiley - sadface

There's one 'liopluerodon' left which should be a 'liopleurodon' but that's really nit-picking on a perfect entry!

Thanks Bossel - ue now eu. I ran it through word to spellcheck, but as usual I chose not to add a word I wasn't going to use much to the custom dic. I chose 'ignore' instead, and of course it ignored slightly different spelling of an unrecognised word. Why on earth Mr.Gates ommitted liopleurodon from the standard dic., I'll never know. But until the 2000 release, miss-spelling 'surprise' as 'suprise' gained no response at all. So no suprise there then.

Frogbit, the entry on ichthyosaurs is top-notch, but there is one thing that troubled me - surely the shoe firm is Clark's not Clarke's? It was always Clark's when I was dragged round the shops as a child, looking for the elusive perfect-fitting school shoes.

Suppose the family got a bit sick of its name all over the town and craved some variation?

I've gone through the backlog, read the entry a few times, and, though it has been stated several times already, for what it's worth, I find it to be excellent as well. But I guess that it may mean something as I have a bit too much recommending ammo at the present....

I particularly liked the reconstruction bit as I can't recall ever seeing that in any other entries whose topics are strictly factual. But then again, all entries are supposed to be strictly factual. You probably wouldn't get very far using pronouns in the first person.

What do you think, fellow Scouts? Should I recommend the entry once we have sorted out the Clark/e Shoe Store Contraversy?

do it right now smiley - grovel There's plenty of time for the Clark/e thing until it gets moved into a Subed's hands.
