Yes, it is, but sometimes it's necessary to simplify things - and it is a kind of figure of speech as well. You knew what I meant, didn't you?

Yes but I generaly went for the humor, ya know 4D not 3D so you realy have to think about it unless it just wasn't funny or did I forget the smilies?

Oh yes, it was funny, but you also had a very good point, so I decided that you must have been going for the point rather than just the humour.

Music isn't a scale
MaW Posted Oct 13, 2001
Styles of music? Hmm, let's see, a little R'n'B, some of the better pop, an extremely small amount of garage, great shovelfuls of 80's stuff, folk-rock, mediaeval and classical mostly.

No, unfortunately not.
And what does it being good enough for you have to do with it being classical or not?
I don't think it is - classical is stuff like Mozart and Fauré (oh, Fauré's Requiem, one of my absolute favourites).

Clasical has become a style of music not (as the word sugests) old and well known,
Perhaps it is the style that is old and well known?

I know it's a style, but I don't know any modern composers. However, Enya still does not conform to that style.

I think some of Enyas work def dosn't because of the verity I'd say that some of her workis classical and if not at lest clasicalist.

It's definitely partly classical-inspired, although it's probably closer to folk and traditional Celtic music than anything else - and folk is certainly not classical.
