A Conversation for Talking Point: Mythical Creatures

There is a book by Peter Dickinson called _The Flight of Dragons_. It takes a reasonably scientific approach to explaining how dragons could have existed, how and why they breathed fire, how they flew, and why we don't have any fossil evidence of their existence. It's a very good book, although the hardback edition is out of print. I'm not entirely sure whether the book is serious, or an April Fool's joke, but it's good anyway.

I've read that. It's a lot of fun. I think you're meant to read it with a pinch of salt, but at the same time if you take it seriously it could work as a theory, just.
