Well, it is the person making the claim that has to bring the proof. So if you claim that the sun is shrinking, proove it. And when you were told that it did by someone, didn't you bother at all to check the evidence to see if it was correct? Don't you think it would be the proper thing to do, before starting to spread it as the ultimate truth? Check both sides of the case first.
I am willing to listen to a 16-year old. I don't care about your age, what matters is your arguments. Maybe you don't care about if the Bible gives the correct age of the Earth. But wouldn't it be good to find out if the Bible is correct before trying to make others believe in it? If it gives the wrong age of the Earth or other similar things, what makes you think the whole heaven/hell is correct.
