A Conversation for Talking Point: Mythical Creatures

...do exist, I believe...
...there's just no other way of explaining being what seems as 'extremely lucky' in situations of risk or danger...
...especially when I hear that 'inner voice' warning me...
...or simply turning invisible...
Invisible? Yes... I've travelled quite a lot, and sometimes on my own, abroad, not knowing the language, getting lost (lousy sense of direction) in the middle of the night, ending up in some gloomy part of town with prostitutes in the street corners, street fights, police cars... and I've just continued walking through it all, nobody paying me any attention at all, not even a quick glance...
...never been afraid of being out after dark, because nothing has ever happened to me...
...the *only* time I've felt let down was when I slipped on an icy pavement, fell, and broke my ancle - I guess my Guardian Angel was busy rescuing someone else in worse trouble right then...

So if there are Guardian Angels why do some people get hurt?

I think it's because there are much fewer Guardian Angels than people - not everyone seems to have one...

I believe in them too.
Maybe you have to believe to be protected?
I've had the same kind of experiences as Titania.

Well, I don't see that matters. But I guess even guardian angels need lunch breaks.

dude, put me in touch with your dealer! I want some "guardian angel" too!
all jokes aside, I must say the guardian angel thing is a bit farfetched. Maybe you've just found some little people who are amused to help you out every now and then.
