to me human lifec an barely communicate with each other"language barrier"
add to this the fact that we really dont communicate with other terestrial species on a meaningful level..
and the distances involved in interstellar communication make the likeleyhood of any reasonable contact with extraterrestrial extremely remote at best
however i guess it doesn't hurt to try...all the best iain
