I think we're waiting for a scout to recommend it for editing, while giving others a last chance to recommend changes. Unfortunately, having lost the identity, (Grimethorpe2k1 is no more), that created it, I'm not able to make any changes!

Thanks for your remarks, tonsil revenge. I'm sorry you didn't like the Entry much. Let me assure you that there are no jokes, whether in or out - ffor instance, Marx did actually say what he did about 'uncontrolled Ultra Left elements' waving the red flag in the streets and creating trouble to no useful 'Historical' purpose- and he certainly wasn't joking. He was very angry (I'm sorry, I can't find the reference now). And I also do believe that the least said the better about Postmodernism and Poststructuralism. What has been said about this new irrationalism is as contradictory and confused as the phenomenon itself.
And it really doesn't matter where he lived in the Black Forest, does it?? - it was an isolated cabin in the mountains near Messkirch actually - but that would make it even more greetingscardy.
Anyway, as you can see from my reply to Zarquon's Singing Fish, I can't actually change the entry now. Thanks again for your interest, though.

Could you copy it and repost it like they do in the Flea Market?

Oh, I liked the purpose of the entry, even the message. I don't make comments on the one's I truly don't like. Believe me, I'm a lot harder on myself.
Unt perhaps Heidegger vas vun uff der elffs?

Zarquon's Singing Fish! Posted Nov 9, 2001
Hi again, Grime!
Actually, my interest is now piqued. What do the post modernists think - or is that the subject of another (future) entry?
I've got the on hold for this, but I hope we can share and enjoy soon (but there's some on offer at my place, as I've just had an entry recommended myself!).

Hi Frogbit,
Does seem strange, don't it?
Is there something very, very wrong about all this? After all, I can't change it now (unless the Shee's right)

Hi ZSF,
Congrats on your success, but I wouldn't spoil the on my account. After all, no-one in Peer Review thought the original version was other than acceptable, but the Editors still threw it out on spurious grounds an' wouldn't even let it be subbed!

Ah.. the heck with it! I'm throwing caution to the winds..
I was attempting to be uncharacteristically considerate, and let the previous recommender re-rec this, but I guess he/she is otherwise occupied, or something...
BTW, Grime, you could e-mail [email protected] with your h2g2 U123456 number and/or the h2g2 email address that was current in your personal preferences.. They may be able to help you reclaim your old space...
Now where is that button...
*hope it 'takes' this time*

I'm not really here Posted Nov 11, 2001
I came to see how this was doing, but I see it's doing ok.
Grime, let me know if you can't get back into your old account and want to, although Tal did give you the info to do it.
For future reference, you can copy the source by putting test instead of A in the URL, and you will get the edit box filled with your code. You can copy it and paste it into a new entry.
If this goes through I suggest you ask the towers to credit it to your new user account if you are happy not to worry about getting back into your old one.
congratulations!

Thanks, Mina. I'm happy with my new site, actually. I've subscribed to the conversations over here and all that's mussing is oifficial confirmation of my two Guide Entries. I'm not that worried, really - but

Editors -
If this gets accepted this time could you please change the researtcher's name to my new identity, (Grime). And if you could change my unedited one (Alternative Answers to the Ultimate Question) too I might even forgive the previous, rather spurious and gratuitously offensive rejection of the first edition of this Entry.

See Posting 48 of the original 'A626212 Heidegger's Utimate Question' when the original article - passing Peer Review with a lot of hard work on it by me and in the Review with a strong basis of approbation, was peremprorily slung out on the grounds - which were an insult to all who had spent their time and effort on it - that it wasn't clear to the particular editor(s) (even though the members of the Review2 obviously understood it), and that it gave the 'vibe' of a 'philosophers' in-joke'.
Or was this perhaps an editors' on joke?
