There is just the one page up so far so none of the internal links on the menu work. I just need to know if the layout/css is working

this when i press css
Please, validate your XML document first!
Line 71
Column 263
The element type "p" must be terminated by the matching end-tag ""
and the other version
Line 71 column 266: end tag for element "span" which is not open.
...not have time to do in England.
The Validator found an end tag for the above element, but that element is not currently open. This is often caused by a leftover end tag from an element that was removed during editing, or by an implicitly closed element (if you have an error related to an element being used where it is not allowed, this is almost certainly the case). In the latter case this error will disappear as soon as you fix the original problem.
If this error occured in a script section of your document, you should probably read this FAQ entry.

it's more a test of the overall look I'm after which as ya have not said it looked terrible I'm assuming is OK - I'm no where near the point where I'm worrying too much about validation yet. That said, well spotted

Looks good, and virtually identical on Safari and Mac Firefox 1.5 . The hover is funky in IE 5.2, but don't worry about that, as it's officially unsupported as of Dec 31. Anyway it's virtually identical in IE 5.2 too, apart from the hover.

Well, as far as I can tell, there are no spelling mistakes in the main text, but in the links to the right, that's why I noticed them...
