My family have a very slight obsession with Wainwright's books - we've done the 214 in the Lake District and marked them all off on our A Wainwright maps 
It would be brilliant to see this in Peer Review some day

Good grief, how on earth did you find this one... I'd completely forgotten about it!
Yup, one day I've got to get it finished (along with the other two dozen half-finished entries there are gathering dust on my page 
)
If you've got any of the guide books, keep hold of them - I don't know if you'd realised it but they are now officially and permanently out of print - apparently the publishers have decided they're too out of date to be efficient guides

I've got loads of stuff gathering dust that I really should finish...
I had no idea that the books were out of print - they may be out of date, but that's what makes it fun, plus they're of historical value...

Good news - the AW books are still in print.
They are published by Frances Lincon (www.franceslincoln.com). The guides are available but some of the others have not been republished.
Your list of AW publications is most useful. Even the Wainright Society's site does not have a comprehensive list.
By the way a first addition of AW's Book 4 is, with 2 hours of bidding to go, being sold for £165 on ebay (!).
