THE MAN



Born on the 17th January 1907 in Blackburn Lancashire, Alfred Wainwright was the son of a stonemason. Born into a poor family, the youngest of four children, he left school at the age of thirteen years old to start work as an office boy in Blackburn Councils Engineering department....
