Hey no worries - I consider my dyslexia mild - it just makes me a little slower at some things than some people would expect - it certainly has not stopped my being able to get a reasonable degree and a great job, nor has it stopped me developing a love for books and the written word. Anyway I find the approach people take to reading and writing really interesting as we are all differnt.
HAndwriting is fascinating too. I am never sure but often wonder if there is something in graphology. If you see an envelope written by my father or anyone from his side of the family there is a definite similarity (even through to my cousins). The same goes for my mother and her mother and sister. I wonder if we do all develop a style that is a synthesis of our parents?
I have been hectic with a lot of HR stuff it would be inappropriate to discuss here but if I get a chance at the w/emd I will mail you about it . I am really enjoying my job and haveing to think and use my brian and skills and being able to make a difference. Its fab! That in itself is some reward! Here is a turn up for the books - my job is fun But yes I have to earn my money and the small perks I get. The downside is that I cant get here as much and that I do miss loads
I hope you are able to get here some other evenings this week (OK so I do kn0ow its Thursday and that basically means today / tomorrow!) I will be about at the weekend and hope you will too

Well I've decided to start posting from work. I'm still here at 5:15 on a Friday and have another piece of work to do before I can go, so I thought I'd take a break first
Things are hectic for me as well. Loads of deadlines keep moving forward. Coupled with this, one of the senior nurses in the Neonatology department died just before New Year and everyone is really depressed. She was the best mate of the Directorate Manager and as a result (and quite understandably) it is impossible to get a decision of the boss on anything at the moment.
I won't be around this evening, at least I'm not planning on being around. Nor will I be around much on Saturday as its away to Gillingham - the armpit of the Universe and the only town I have ever been to that has NO redeeming qualities what so ever.
I guess its a case of I'll see you when I see you

Sounds like you have been working really hard too and that things have not been that easy for you all
I hope the reason you will not be around tonight is because you are out having some fun - you deserve it (or in having fun for that matter)
I will be out and about some of tomorrow but generally will be around over the weekend so hopefully we will manage to catch up then

Last night was a good laugh, we didn't go anywhere special, just out and about. It took my mind off of things
Right now someone is rather keen on coming along with me this afternoon

It was more of an That said, probably the best way to deter your girlfriend from coming to anymore football matches is an away game at Gillingham in January. A miserable town, with a miserable ground and full of really ugly people. But hey, what do I care. We won

And a win is a win right!
Did you have a good afternoon together?

GreyDesk Posted Jan 12, 2002
We won. I had a great time
Seriously though I don't think she was that impressed with the whole experience, pleased for me that Sheffield won, but she doesn't understand why that makes me so happy. On top of this, Gillingham is an unpleasant ground to be an away supporter. Its not seated its terraces, there is no roof and you're pinned in by the home support who are an aggressive bunch.
So how has your weekend been then...

It does not sound like an ideal first experience
So far my weekend has been fine! I forgot to unset my alarm, but was awake before it so came her fro a while and then read some, then went to meet a friend in town to go shopping but we ended up gossiping ofr so long there was no time to shop!
Since then a few calls with friends and then to the pub - just back!
Tomorrow I should do chores and some work - so I will probably be here a fair bit
What have you planned?

The dishes, the washing, the ironing. I might even open the cupboard door and admire the vacuum cleaner for a while.
