Ah, this thread seems appropriate.
I just thought I ought to tell you that the official Netiquette page will be going up soon, so I'll pop by here with the URL as soon as I hear more news about it.

Oh yes, certainly.
The article I mention is a page covering all topics of behaviour on h2g2, not just continuity. It therefore doesn't cover continuity in quite so much detail. By all means keep the above link!

ditto
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A610390 - Alternative House Rules
I've split it into sections, so it isn't quite so overwhelming... Knowing h2g2, the page on 'naughty words' will probably have the biggest hit count...

and, uh, shouldn't the links under "Worthwhile Causes and Information" be posted here? They're not really clubs per se, are they?

Where did you want the 'Alternative Rules' to go Lucy?
Abi is working on the Links pages and splitting them down into more managable sections, so I'm sure that the 'Worthwhile Causes' etc will have their own page.
Hopefully she will be finished soon. She was, sadly, ill over the festive season and has a lot of catching up to do!
