Thanks. I've also gotten it announced in the Announcements section of the upcoming h2g2Post.

You could patent it as a device to amuse cats, too?

But... what about the dangers of using its hypnotic powers to induce people to break the House Rules?

Yay!! I'll have to check this source out! I'm intersted!! Brilliant Twwinkle!!!! I can understand using a marquee to go side to side but to go up and down as well? HOW??!!
Anyway just to let you know I'm thinking of making a quick little thing myself; just a little mouse-over-chanbging-smiley thing.. not really particularly intersting but its something eh?
I Shouldn't think it has reason to be banned, but you know the mods and their fun-spoiling tools!!! ssshh!

You can check the source out for pages by putting 'test' before the number, instead of A, in the address bar
I assume Twinkle managed to get the smiley to go up and down by using MARQUEE DIRECTION="DOWN" or whatever the attribute is. Something like that. Anyway, the normal marquee can go up and down too.
And I don't think you'll be able to do a mouse-over-changing-pic-wotnot with the limited set of html tags allowed on h2g2 - I'm surprised they let marquee through, really Let me know if you can get something like that working, though!
