I think Easter is okay.
I'm none too sure about my family, though...
-KC in on anything...

Easter is likely to be more difficult (after all, that's why I didn't come last time... ). With lots of advance notice, it might be possible...

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Aug 20, 2002
Stockholm is with me too, but what about accomodation? any possibility for free or at least very cheap accommodation like last year in Esbjerg?

Accommodation? Hmmmmmmm...
The thing that immediately springs to my mind is a rather nice youth hostel were I stayed a couple of times way back when I didn't live in Stockholm... let me check, I'll be right back!

OK, here's a link to the youth hostel in question: [it's in English]
http://www.stfturist.se/STF_INT/vandrarhem_info.asp?AreaId=18&An_id=168&LanCD=EN&Flag=True
The 'members' prices are if you are a member of any organization belonging to the 'Hostelling International'/IYHF (International Youth Hostel uh - Federation?) I think, but I'll have to double-check that...
The third row of prices are the weekend prices - there seems to be rooms with either 2 or 4 beds, and if you want a single room there's a supplement of 155-200 SEK (I'm afraid they've done rather a sloppy job at translating the info into English, in Swedish the page is more detailed)
The city centre of Stockholm is situated on various islands linked together by bridges, and the Zinkensdamm youth hostel is situated on the island Södermalm, one of the most popular parts of Stockholms, with a multitude of restaurants and pubs (happy hour price war 19 SEK for a ) - unfortunately the prices of flats here are horrendous - it has become very popular among Swedish celebreties and is considered pretty much 'in'
When I stayed there, you could get your own key to the youth hostel in case you were planning on staying out late, but I don't know how it is today - yet another detail I need to check if you think this seems like an OK place...?
...and don't let the word 'youth hostel' fool you - they have no age limits!

Well, Easter next year has been mentioned - but it's getting a bit confusing trawling through this conversation...
Hang on, I'll do something about it...
