Seeking Dutch/ Flemish(Belgium) speaking people out there?
I am desperately trying to trace if possible, before it is too late(if not already) a lady who became close to my father when he was stationed in Holland and Belgium during WW2.
I am hoping to circulate all details that I have on a Dutch/Belgium website, alas,I do not speak the language.Hence my search for someone ,who may be able to undertake this for me.....please pretty please can anyone help me with this?
My father thought a lot of this lady and I do not have a problem with the circumstances of their meeting.
I have placed pictures of on my page(joyfuldevongirl) of this pretty lady and my father, please anyone....take a look someone may just recognise her or my father.
Thank you everyone.

Well, I'll tell you - hopefully - tonight what a profeesional can do for you, as he did when I did research for my ancestors. It can be sheer hell to do that on your own. It takes decades that way.
He is an atomic engeneerer who is passionate in his free time to do investigations. Of course he wants to be paid for it, but
1)about 15 euro per hour
and the costs for traveling.
He does it in a saturday in a week, but he's also very handy at the internet.
I other words; he's a real "ancestor-nerd".
For privatereasons I do not know at this hour what website he has.
I'll have a look at it and if I have found it, I'll let you know and you can call/mention my name.
See for my own story; F134334?thread=354409
Greetings from Amsterdam.
He'd know instantly which militairy books and where they can be found.
I was happy with the short distance of his home and the city of my ancestors.
Will be different for you.
That's all I can do; give the website that should be still there.

I have already posted this reply three times, but Murphy has a lot of fun today.
Here's the website of Femke en Lars Roobol/ "Family Affairs".
Lars Roobol does most of the research (evenings and at saturday).
They are very reliable and they always make photocopies of documents they find. Because a real researcher wants prove.

That's all I can do for you,
Good luck
