There is an entry that's been forgotten at the bottom of Peer Review, hoping that someone, someday will come along and lend it some authenticity. It concerns 'beer sign language', and it appears the eds are just wanting to make sure it isn't a figment of the author's imagination.
If anyone would like to take a look and verify the subject's existence, countless people would be greatful. The discussion, and a link to the entry itself, is here: F48874?thread=3046546

You'll need some experienced beer drinkers to back up the use of the language. I only have very limited experience in ordering beer.
However its been picked

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
