Just noticed a tiny little nitpick
"They have two children together" --> "They have had two children together"

I like this! It's very readable, and - love 'em or hate 'em - they ARE a British Telly institution.
I read somewhere else that the influence of their book club was so strong that they were expecting the same sort of reaction to their wine-tasting.
Nice work GB.

Its difficult to say exactly what it is about R&J that makes them watchable instead of excruciating - not that I often watch them - somehow Richard escapes the smugness of Gary Newbon, and his gaucheness seems cute rather than embarassing.
(Though did you see the interview with Jimn Davidson ? Descended to slanging match with Davidson ending it by saying - at least you can trust me in an off-license.

Only Davidson would have got away with that I reckon
I thought the Clinton interview was terrible, fawning & scraping, you'd think he'd be used to meeting celebrities wouldn't you? Maybe it was Judy's cleveage that did it.

Did anyone see Richard with the gorgeous Chloe at the award ceremony?
The headline I saw said "Richard and who's she"

Judy just cracked up when talking about George Best and her own father, whom she managed to arrange an introduction (Judy's Dad was a massive Man Utd fan and totally awestruck by George) she said it was the best thing she was ever able to do for her Dad and he passed away 21 years ago today.

Right - I've given this a complete overhaul.
Three weeks ago Paully said:
"Do you think it might be worth adding a section on how and where the couple met? The local TV news programmes that they used to present together, that kind of thing?"
Done.
Footnotes trimmed.
Moved their "personality" paragraph to the top.
Written some more about This Morning.
Included a recent extract from "Little Britain" and mentioned the impersonations of R & J by other celebrities.
Mentioned the Wine Club.
Mentioned "Breaking News" (I'm not sure I've spelt "reminisced" correctly) and "Just Before We Go"
If removing the Hawking Interview will get this picked I'll remove it - but very reluctantly.
Anything else?

Also reworded the "too many metaphors" sentence which was merntioned in the backlog a month ago.

Guess who was on "Richard and Judy" tonight?
Patrick Swayze
Judy actually bit her knuckles while she was interviewing him.
She had a permanent smile on her face. I'd swear she was flirting with him, she was definately awestruck.
I'm going to wander off now and bite my knuckles and smile and pretend I just interviewed Patrick Swayze.

Yes well, as I'm not entering any more entries into PR until my old ones are cleared, I'd appreciate this either being picked by a passing Scout ( as I've done what was asked ) or else I'll remove it and offer it to <./>thepost</.>

Hang on a minute, Galaxy Babe - why have you removed this entry so quickly? You barely gave the Scouts eleven hours to make the pick!

Eleven hours? I haven't got a pick to make for weeks!
(Oh wait - Christmas holidays... when do I make my picks if I'm not here? )
